The office of Human Resources Diversity and Inclusion invite you to celebrate our Titan community as we recognize faculty and staff years of service milestones, earned degrees, and name the 2023 university award winners. Save the date for the 2023 program and stay tuned for more details. In the meantime let us know if you earned a degree in the 2021/22 academic year or if you know someone who deserves to be recognized for the Teamwork and Collaboration Award; Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award, and/or the Titan Excellence Award by February 17, 2023 so we can consider them for recognition at the University Awards Program on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
UNIVERSITY AWARDS
Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award
The Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award recognizes staff, faculty or teams who have taken action to make CSUF a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus community. One (1) individual or team will be selected and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, and recognition on the HRDI website.
Teamwork and Collaboration Award
The Teamwork Award recognizes teams comprised of faculty and/or staff who demonstrate cooperation, collaboration and open communication through work together on a project or significant effort that advanced college/departmental goals and /or the university’s strategic goals. One (1) individual or team will be selected and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, and recognition on the HRDI website.
*University Awards are open to faculty, staff and administrators. Nominations must be made by an active faculty, staff or administrator.
TITAN EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Titan Excellence Award
The Titan Excellence Award recognizes members of the Titan Family who dedicate themselves every day to a job well done and are committed to the university's mission and values. Three (3) winners will be awarded annually and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, lunch with the President, and recognition on the HRDI website.
Titan of the Year Award
From the three (3) annual Titan Excellence winners, one (1) will be recognized as Titan of the year. The Titan of the year award recipient will also receive an engraved glass award and free employee parking permit in addition to the awards mentioned above.
*Titan Excellence Awards are open to faculty, staff and administrators. Nominations must be made by either an active faculty, staff, administrator or student.
Presidential Award of Distinction
This award was created to recognize and honor Titans who go above and beyond in their service to the University and to others.
Ways to Get Involved
All award winners will be recognized at the University Awards Program on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Employees who submit an earned degree in the 21/22 academic year will be listed in the online program and will be recognized during the event.
Winners of the live Titans Got Talent Show may be featured live at the University Awards Program or may be featured in a pre-recorded session.
