System Updates


CHRS Recruiting is a cloud-based system and shared by all 23 CSU campuses and the Chancellor’s Office.  The system is frequently updated by the vendor and Chancellor’s Office. 


Due to the prevalence of system updates, our User Guides may not always match what a user experiences in the system.  This is especially true for updates that originate from the vendor, or updates that are quickly implemented to fix bugs or other unexpected issues.


Many updates will be small, like the example below:

This screenshot shows the “Auxiliary Recruitment” field that was added to both the Job Requisition and Offer Card pages in October 2020.  This field is used for campuses who utilize CHRS Recruiting to hire for Auxiliary positions.


Other updates may be more significant.  HRDI will notify impacted users of updates where appropriate.
