CHRS Modules

 

Each CHRS Module refers to a different component of CHRS. All modules are part of Oracle PeopleSoft (except for Recruiting Solutions, which is built by PageUp). Fullerton is currently working on the PeopleSoft modules.

 

CHRS includes these PeopleSoft modules:

Absence Management (AM)

Absence Management is a self-service module that processes CSU leaves (i.e. sick & vacation time, personal holidays, bereavement, etc.).

Benefits Administration (BEN)

Benefits Administration tracks CSU employees’ benefits eligibility and enrollment information.

Labor Cost Distribution (LCD)

Labor Cost Distribution (LCD) is used to transmit the CSU payroll expenditure journal from PeopleSoft Human Capital Management into the Common Financial System.

Temporary Academic Employment (TAE)

Temporary Academic Employment (TAE) manages HR needs for all temporary academic employee appointments, including but not limited to those for lecturers, teaching associates, graduate assistants, coaches, counselors, librarians, and faculty additional employment.

Time & Labor (TL)

Time & Labor (TL) handles time tracking and processing for all non-exempt employees. It creates the Payroll Input Process (PIP) file, which is used to produce a paycheck.

Workforce Administration (WA)

Workforce Administration contains all core employee data. All the other modules receive employees’ person and job data from this module.

Recruiting Solutions

Recruiting Solutions (CHRS Recruiting) is used to hire and onboard new employees. (Recruiting Solutions has already been implemented on Fullerton’s campus and is built by PageUp.)
