HRDI First Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey Results
The first annual HRDI Customer Satisfaction Survey was established earlier this year to analyze our service to the campus community and identify clear areas for improvement. The results of the survey data provide valuable feedback, insights into the employee experience, and allow our division to identify opportunities for improvement, areas of success, and how to prioritize the needs of our customers. Our team appreciates all of those who completed the survey and contributed to these findings. The 2020 survey outcomes are now available on our website.
Payroll Tax Deferral - Update
On August 8, 2020, President Trump issued a Presidential Memorandum directing the IRS to allow the deferral (not waiver) of withholding, deposit, and payment of payroll tax obligations for certain employees effective September 1, 2020. IRS guidance provided on August 28, 2020, clarifies that employers can, but are not required to, participate in this program. After evaluation and consideration of the IRS guidance, the State of California and the State Controller’s Office decided not to participate in the Federal Tax Deferral program proposed.

How to Report COVID-19 Cases or Exposure at CSUF
The University requests that any employee or student who tests positive for COVID-19 or becomes aware that they may have been in close contact with someone who either has tested positive for or is suspected to have COVID-19 report the positive result or exposure using the CSUF Student/Employee COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form . Visitors and Vendors may report using the CSUF Visitor/Vendor COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form . CSUF’s Infectious Diseases Response Team reviews and verifies COVID-19 confirmed cases and responds to concerns from the campus community on COVID-19.

2021 Open Enrollment is September 21 – October 16
Open Enrollment is September 21 to October 16. This is your annual opportunity to review benefits and make changes for the upcoming year, effective January 1, 2021. This year, a new virtual solution has been created for accessing benefits resources. Find up-to-date information on the CSU Open Enrollment webpage and tune into the Virtual Benefits Fair, on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, where you can chat with providers and the benefits team. You must register here to get access to the CSU open enrollment webpage, which will also host the virtual benefits fair. Registration is now open. This segment takes place Wednesdays at 12:00 pm through September 23. Join a Healthy Meals session here on Wednesdays at noon.
- Health Conscious?- Join our conversations as we navigate eating and exercising in this “new normal”. We discuss eating habits, exercise, and goal setting. Learn what current WW at Work members are doing to stay on track. Non-WW at Work members are welcome. Join a session here on Tuesdays at 12:30 pm. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
