The Open Enrollment period is your annual opportunity to review and update your current benefits for the upcoming year. We encourage you to take this opportunity to review all benefits plan options and costs before making any enrollment decisions for yourself and family members. Join us at the on-campus Health and Wellness Expo and you will have the opportunity to learn about the changes for 2023 and to meet the vendors in-person.

Virtual CSU Benefits fair for csuf

In addition, we are also participating in a virtual fair hosted by the Chancellor’s Office (CO). Your HRDI Total Wellness Team and vendors will be available to video or text chat during the Benefits Fair. This is your opportunity to learn about your benefit updates for 2023.

This year, the Southern Regional Virtual Benefit Fair will be held on Zoom Events. In order to attend this event, you must register. You must be logged into Zoom using your campus assigned email address. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link and instructions on how to join. Q&A SESSIONS

Your HRDI Total Wellness Team is also offering one-on-one information sessions- both in -person and virtually -to assist you with your Open Enrollment questions. For virtual sessions, upon arrival, you will be placed in a queue and a representative will assist you. Please be prepared to wait for assistance.

Health Plan & rate Changes for 2023

 

Please be certain to review if you are a PERS Gold, or PERS Platinum member regarding the upcoming changes. Additionally, Blue Shield Trio have expanded their services to more counties.

BENEFIT

CHA​NGES FOR 2023

Reproductive Health Equity Language

New benefit language providing all persons access to reproductive health benefits regardless of sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Fertility Care Health Equity Language

New benefit language updating the definition of infertility to provide access to infertility treatment to members regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status.

Hearing Aids

Hearing aids are covered at 100% in both ears every 36 months when medically necessary to prevent and treat speech and language development delay due to hearing loss.

Match Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) & Members with a Primary Care Provider (PCP)

PPO members and their dependents will be assigned a PCP – for example, a general practitioner, family practitioner, internist, or pediatrician – based on factors such as location, age, and primary language. Members are free to choose a different PCP, without change to their ability to see a specialist at any time without a referral. This change will not impact health premiums.
