Campus Re-Entry Update

Colleagues,

As COVID-19 cases in Orange County continue to decrease and vaccination rates increase, county trends remain positive and the University continues to prepare the campus for employee re-entry. As a reminder, employees should continue to prepare to return to work on campus in the summer, most likely by July 1. MPP supervisors will give employees advance notice of their specific return to work date. In anticipation of this safe return to campus, the temporary telecommute agreements will end for all employees on June 30. The University will continue to put our community's health and safety at the forefront. Planning for the upcoming semester will be guided by state, county health care, chancellor’s office guidelines, and will reflect our values of social justice and inclusion.  We will continue to make our preparations with an emphasis on flexibility and the capacity to pivot quickly and safely if needed.

Monthly re-entry virtual open forums for employees will continue in the summer. Dates for upcoming open forums can be found on the HRDI COVID-19 webpage.

Please visit the Titans Return: COVID-19 Recovery website for updated information on re-entry, vaccines, and testing. This site includes information on the Providence St. Jude Vaccination Clinics for faculty, staff, students, and family members that are now available.  The campus re-entry planning dashboard also is available for you and contains re-entry planning tools and new childcare resourcesPDF File .

State employees who have medical concerns should contact Griselda Marquez in Human Resources, Diversity, and Inclusion at grgmarquez@fullerton.edu regarding any eligible leaves and the documentation required for any accommodations that may be available to them.

Thank you for all you have done to help the University continue to serve our students and campus community.

Best,

David Forgues, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP
