The Staff Development Center (SDC) at California State University, Fullerton opened on October 25, 2021.

The purpose of the SDC is to advance staff members' capacity for personal and professional growth and empowerment while promoting their sense of connection and belonging.

Professional and Personal Money Matters: A Three-Part Lunch Series for Achieving Financial Wellness in Your Life

A three-part educational lunch series presented by the U.S. Bank, hosted in hybrid capacity by the Staff Development Center. Lunches provided by the SDC for in-person attendees. In-person attendees limited to 10.

After participation in this workshop series and evaluation through post-session surveys administered by the SDC, participants will be able to:

  • Set values-based goals and identify how one’s finances can support these goals;
  • Understand the elements of “financial fitness” and how to apply them to one’s life;
  • Identify the “Four C’s of Credit” and ways to improve one’s credit score.

In this presentation, Matt Badal from CSUF IT will show you some of the technology resources you may not have known about at CSUF. He will also show some of the advancements in technology that can help you out in your day-to-day lives with the goal of actually making your life easier using technology.

 

50 Years of Title IX: Looking Back, Looking Forward

In celebration of Women’s History Month and Social Justice Week, join the Title IX and Gender Equity team for a presentation and open house to reflect on 50 years of Title IX, the landmark federal civil rights law that fundamentally changed the national conversation around gender equity in education. Join us either via Zoom or in the Staff Development Center (CP 207) from 12:30-1:30pm for a presentation on the history and future of Title IX. Visit our concurrent open house in the Title IX and Gender Equity office suite next door in CP 205 from 12:30-2:00pm. The open house will feature a poster session and light refreshments. Seating in CP 207 for the presentation is limited to the first 15 attendees, and additional attendees can register to attend the presentation virtually via Zoom. Activating your Leadership With Values

This workshop is intended to allow staff members to explore how their personal values impact their ability to lead others and manage their work.

Are you interested in learning how your individual values exist with the values of CSUF and how their interactions impact your leadership skills as a member of the Titan staff? This workshop is for you. Come join us to get more experience understanding leadership and participate in a values assessment that will provide you with the tools to be a successful leader.
