Family Leaves
Under CSU Family Medical Leave (FML), eligible employees with at least 12 months of service may take unpaid job-protected leave for up to 12 weeks in a 12-month, forward rolling period due to the employee’s own or a qualified family member’s serious health condition, the birth or placement of a child, or a qualified military exigency.
Parental Leaves
Parental leave is a paid leave of up to 30 days associated with the birth of an employee’s own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection adoption or foster care.
Organ Donor Leaves
Full-time employees accrue eight hours of sick leave per each qualifying pay period; part-time employees earn sick leave on a pro-rata basis.
