Meet Your Master of Ceremonies
Tim Alexander
As a two-time alum, Tim earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting (15’) and Master of Science in Higher Education (17’) from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). While a member of the Guardian Scholars program, he found his calling in serving underrepresented, underserved, and under-resourced students. Tim is excited to host this year’s university awards to honor and celebrate CSUF’s faculty and staff who supported and celebrated him throughout his collegiate journey. Tim is currently a Resident Director at Chapman University, where he is committed to nurturing the next generation of global citizens through co-curricular learning, facilitating successful transitions toward graduation, and, most importantly, cultivating a safe, inclusive, and healthy community for all students.
UNIVERSITY AWARDS
Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award
The Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award recognizes staff, faculty or teams who have taken action to make CSUF a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus community. One (1) individual or team will be selected and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, and recognition on the HRDI website.
Teamwork and Collaboration Award
The Teamwork Award recognizes teams comprised of faculty and/or staff who demonstrate cooperation, collaboration and open communication through work together on a project or significant effort that advanced college/departmental goals and /or the university’s strategic goals. One (1) individual or team will be selected and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, and recognition on the HRDI website.
*University Awards are open to faculty, staff and administrators. Nominations must be made by an active faculty, staff or administrator.
TITAN EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Titan Excellence Award
The Titan Excellence Award recognizes members of the Titan Family who dedicate themselves every day to a job well done and are committed to the university's mission and values. Three (3) winners will be awarded annually and recognized at the annual University Awards Program. Winners will receive a monetary award, an engraved plaque, lunch with the President, and recognition on the HRDI website.
*Titan Excellence Awards are open to faculty, staff and administrators. Nominations must be made by either an active faculty, staff, administrator or student.
Winners in all categories will be recognized at the University Awards Program on Thursday, April 18 2024.
