CSU and University Policies
Cal State Fullerton is governed by State, Federal, and University guidelines. These policies include the following:
- Title 5 is the Education Code for the State of California.
- Executive Orders are policies administered by the Chancellor's Office and apply to all California State Universities.
- Presidential Directives are policies specific to Cal State Fullerton.
- University Policy Statements (UPS) The Academic Senate is the official representative legislative body of the university and develops policies on curriculum, academic standards, criteria and standards for the selection, retention and tenure of faculty members and other matters that affect faculty and students
- Records Retention and Disposition . The campus must ensure department(s) implement the records/information retention and disposition schedules for their specific area. The retention and disposition of records/information must conform to the CSU standards set in the retention and disposition schedules .
