About Ignite

Ignite is coordinated by the CSUF Staff Development Center (SDC). SDC’s Ignite program uses gamification principles to motivate CSUF staff to engage in personal and professional development activities.

September 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024

 

How to Play Ignite

CSUF staff earn points by completing personal or professional development activities and achievements. A Titan Shops voucher ($50) is awarded to the individuals with the top three (3) scores for the prior month. All remaining scorecard submissions with at least 100 points are entered into an opportunity drawing for a $50 Titan Shops voucher. 

To participate in Ignite , you must… 

1. Be a current CSUF staff member;
2. Complete the Ignite program registration form ; and
3. Submit monthly Experience Points (XP) by the last business day of each month. Scorecards may also be submitted via email to sdc@fullerton.edu.

 

Experience Points (XP): 

Ignite participants will earn points by completing personal or professional development activities and achievements. Each month participants may track their individual progress using the Ignite Scorecard . Participants will submit their experience points each month using the Ignite Monthly XP form . 

 

Important Dates:

Monthly submission forms are due by 5pm PST on the following dates:

• September = September 29, 2023 (September 1 - 29)
• October = October 31, 2023 (October 1 - 31)
• November = November 30, 2023 (November 1 - 30)
• December = December 29, 2023 December 1 - 29)
• January = January 31, 2024 (January 1 - 31)
• February = February 29, 2024 (February 1 - 29)
• March = March 29, 2024 (March 1 - 29)
• April = April 30, 2024 (April 1 - 30)
• May = May 31, 2024 (May 1 -31)
• June = June 28, 2024 (June 1 - 30)

*except for December, due to holiday schedule

 

Monthly Leaderboard

The Ignite Leaderboard will be updated and published on the first business day of each month to reflect the prior month’s experience points submitted by participants.

Prizes are awarded to the individuals with the top three (3) scores for the prior month.

The monthly Ignite Leaderboard will be published by 12pm on the following dates:

• September = October 2, 2023
• October = November 1, 2023
• November = December 1, 2023
• December = January 5, 2024
• January = February 1, 2024
• February = March 1, 2024
• March = April 2, 2024
• April = May 1, 2024
• May = June 3, 2024
• June = July 1, 2024

 

Ignite is a pilot program
