Step into the spotlight! We are casting for a dynamic Master of Ceremonies to host the 2027 University Awards Program! This is your chance to volunteer as host, celebrate the incredible achievements of our peers, and set the tone for a day of excellence and inspiration.
What we are looking for:

Stage Presence: A confident, engaging personality who can captivate a large audience.

Articulate Delivery: The ability to collaborate on script writing with grace while remaining adaptable to revisions.

Professionalism: A representative who embodies the spirit and values of our university.

Energy: Someone who can keep the momentum high and the audience connected throughout the ceremony.

Videos auditions will be accepted June 1 through August 31, 2026.
Submission Requirements

Open to all faculty and staff.

Length: submit a 2-3 minute unedited video.

The Scenario: Record yourself "opening" the main stage at 2027 University Awards Program.

The "Hype" Intro: start with a high-energy welcome. Acknowledge the audience, the venue, and the scale of the event.

Sponsor Love:
work in a natural, charismatic shout-out to a fictional sponsor.

The Crowd Work: imagine a room of 2,000 people. Show us how you'd get them to make some noise.

Include: an introduction for President Rochon and VP McCullough.
Instructions for Uploading Your MC Audition Video to YouTube
Please follow these steps to upload your video and share them privately using a link.
Step 1: Prepare Your Video
- Make sure each video follows the required format, content, and length guidelines above.
- Save your video in a common file format such as .mp4 or .mov.
Step 2: Sign in to YouTube

Visit YouTube and click “Sign in” in the upper right corner.
- Log in with a Google (Gmail) account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create one.
Step 3: Upload the Video
- Click the camera icon with a "+" (usually located in the top right).
- Select “Upload video.”
- Follow the prompts to choose and upload your video file.
Step 4: Add a Title and Description
For each video:

Title: Include your full name and the specific content of the video
(e.g., Jamie Smith – 2027 UAP MC Audition).
Step 5: Set the Visibility to “Unlisted”
When prompted to choose the video’s visibility:
- Select “Unlisted”
- This setting means only people who have the link can view the video.
- The video will not appear in search results or on your public channel.
Do not choose “Private.” If the video is private, reviewers will not be able to view it, even if you share the link.
Step 6: Submit your YouTube video link through the Master of Ceremonies Form
- Upload the YouTube link through the Master of Ceremonies Form which will be published June 1, 2026.
