EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

 

CSUF has partnered with    MyLifeMatters by Empathia    to offer faculty, staff and their households’ individual assistance and support service designed to help them cope with personal challenges that may adversely affect their lives, behavior, and/or performance. Services are free. The MyLifeMatters Care Center is staffed with master’s prepared counselors 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

California was the first state in the nation to address the impact of cognitive disorders on families. Each Caregiver Resource Center offers a full complement of family services designed to assist caregivers of adults with chronic and disabling conditions. Multilingual staff is available at some CRCs to serve diverse caregiver populations. Services are free or low cost and include:

  • Waymakers: Certified Sexual Assault Counselors respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week via a rape crisis hotline, to police departments and hospitals, and through two rape crisis centers. Comprehensive and confidential services are provided to victims of rape and other sexual assaults, sexually abused children, and their family members.  You can call the Waymakers 24-hour hotline at either 714-957-2737 or 949-831-9110.
