Cal Employee Connect

 

You can now view your paycheck/direct deposit advice and annual W-2 information online using the State Controller Office Cal Employee Connect (CEC) tool. This is a secure, web-based employee self-service portal accessible to State employees.

 

 

Cal employee connect portal will allow you to:

 

 

To get started, you will need to have a pay stub in hand, issued any pay period since 2017 by CSU Fullerton. If you do not have a physical pay stub, you can access your online pay stub by following the directions below. The pay stub contains information needed to register for access to the CEC portal.

 

Follow the Cal Employee Connect portal registration instructions below for registration with physical deposit advices/pay stubs or registration without physical deposit advices/pay stubs.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A CAL EMPLOYEE CONNECT (CEC) ACCOUNT 

With a physical deposit advice or pay stub. 

 

  1. Have a recent physical direct deposit advice available

  2. Go to the   Cal Employee Connect (CEC)Opens in new window  website. 

  3. Select   Register.

  4. Follow the prompts using the following helpful tips:

    1. Department: select “CSU, Fullerton

    2. Agency Code: enter “242

    3. Earnings Statement Number: On a direct deposit advice, this is the “Direct Dep #”.  On a pay stub, this is the “Warrant No”. direct deposit advice with derect dep number highlighted on the right column

d. Total Deductions: the amount labeled as “Deductions” on your direct deposit advice or pay stub.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A CAL EMPLOYEE CONNECT (CEC) ACCOUNT 

Without a physical deposit advice or pay stub. 

 

  1. If you do not have access to a physical pay stub to register for CEC, please contact payroll@fullerton.edu . Please be ready to verify your identity to obtain the information necessary to register for CEC. In person assistance is also available at the Payroll office, College Park (7 th floor), Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm.
