From Impossible to I'm Possible
Ever had one of those days where your to-do list looks more like a wish list? You know—the kind of day that makes you think, “There is no way I can get all this done”? We’ve all been there. But here’s the twist: what if impossible can change to I’m possible with evidence-based micropractices in mindset and behavior?
And about those micropractices, ever wondered…
How a rubber band builds resilience?
Why a blow dryer belongs in a keynote?
How singing can calm an anxious nervous system in seconds?
And why joy isn’t the prize but the power?
In this lively, story-filled keynote, Sarah Ciavarri blends laughter and learning as she takes you on an interactive journey of overcoming the overwhelm with resilience. Drawing from leadership lessons, reinvention science, and even a few unexpected farm stories (spoiler: there may be a chicken involved), Sarah shows how small shifts in mindset and behavior bring us more connection, control in our lives, and rootedness.
Attendees will walk away with fresh energy, belly laughs with colleagues, and real strategies to turn everyday challenges into powerful moments of growth—both personally and professionally. Because sometimes the biggest transformations start with the smallest actions.

Conversations about how to support staff and faculty mental health can be helped if there is a thorough understanding of what the important issues are, what the barriers to proposed solutions may be, and how to make mental health a top priority for your campus.
