Return to Campus Reminders

Dear Colleagues,

 

Welcome back and happy first day of classes. I want to thank each of you for all of the hard work and preparation it took to get to our first Monday of fall classes. Here are a few reminders to ensure a successful start to the semester:

 

To date, more than 80% of our employees and more than 70% of our students have verified their vaccine status. All students and employees are required to be vaccinated and upload their vaccine record to the University by the September 30, 2021 deadline imposed by the Chancellor’s Office. Those that would like to seek a religious or medical exemption can do so now. Those that have not yet uploaded their vaccine record and those with an approved or pending exemption request will be required to continue to test weekly.

 

Uploading Your COVID-19 Vaccine Record

  • Visit www.fullerton.edu/upload.
  • If receiving a vaccine outside the U.S., the vaccine must be listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization.
  • Once approved, students and employees may come to campus and do not need to participate in re-entry or weekly surveillance testing.

 

Employees should not ask other employees or students to disclose their vaccine status or require proof of vaccination to attend class or participate in any course or other activity. The University is handling those who do not comply with the vaccine policy centrally, so employees do not need to do so in each class or setting. Students will be handled through the Dean of Students Office and employees will be handled by HRDI through the progressive discipline process.

 

All Titans must wear a face covering indoors when on campus, per Presidential Directive 22. Additional resources and more information about testing, vaccine requirements, and face coverings can be found on the Titans Return website.
