CSU Benefits Open Enrollment September 11 to October 6, 2017

The Open Enrollment period is your annual opportunity to review and update your current benefits for the upcoming year. You can enroll, change or cancel CalPERS health, dental, vision, Flexcash, Dependent Care Reimbursement (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement (HCRA) or voluntary benefits plans.

The effective date for all changes made during the Open Enrollment period will be January 1, 2018.

 

To Request an Open Enrollment Change

You can submit your changes online via the campus Portal using the following steps:

  • PortalOpens in new window /Titan Online/Employee Self Service/My Benefits Information and
  • Click on Open Enrollment

No action is necessary if you don’t need to make a change.

Important Changes for 2018

  • The CSU will continue to provide basic vision insurance automatically to eligible employees and their families at no cost to the employee. Effective January 1, 2018, employees will have the option to purchase the VSP Premier Plan, an enhancement to the basic vision insurance plan. This plan offers a higher level of benefits for lenses, contacts and frames each calendar year.

  • All employees who currently use the ASIFlex Benny Master Card for the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) will be issued the new ASIFlex Visa Debit Card in January 2018.

Flexible Spending Account Reminder

All employees must complete a Heath Care/Dependent Care Reimbursement Account Plans Enrollment Authorization form to enroll in either program for 2018 regardless of participation in 2017.
