HRDI Hits a Home Run with Angels Tickets
With the start of spring, the sounds of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" cannot be too far behind. Several hundred University employees and their friends and families will be attending the Angels first home stand of the 2014 baseball season because on Thursday, staff in Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion distributed free Angels tickets to happy University employees. The distribution was made possible through the efforts of staff within University Advancement who obtained the tickets donated by the Angels. Vice President for Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion Lori Gentles said "This was a great success. I am glad so many of our employees are taking advantage of this opportunity to see the Angels start the season against the Mariners. We know that happy employees are productive employees. We support activities that promote fun to balance out the hard and rewarding work we do every day to serve our students. I hope we are able to work with our community partners to provide similar events in the future."
