Policy for Student Employment Eligibility

A student may be eligible to work on-campus as a student employee if the individual meets the following requirements:

 

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Provide employment eligibility documents.

Background Check Requirements: 

All users are expected to employ security practices appropriate to their responsibilities and roles. Student Assistants in sensitive positions, or who access Level 1 Security Data must complete a campus background check.  For descriptions of Level 1 Security Data please reference the  CSU Information Security Data Classification  PDF File
