The Department of Management at California State University, Fullerton, invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track or temporary position at open rank to begin Fall 2017.

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton seeks to fill an endowed chair position in Family Business with a faculty member who possesses a distinguished teaching and research record in this emerging field.  This individual will join a Family Business program that is a Center of Excellence in the College. The Family Business Council and Center was established in 1995 and already sponsors one of the nation’s best family business programs.

Mihaylo College of Business & Economics is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business at both the undergraduate and master’s levels, and is among the five largest business colleges in the U.S., and the largest in California.  There are 14 Centers of Excellence in the College – three of which are affiliated with the Department of Management.  There are over 150 full- time faculty members and 8,700 students, including more than 700 graduate students. Bachelors’ degrees are offered in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Entertainment & Tourism, Finance, Management (Operations, General, and Human Resources), Information Systems/Decision Sciences, Marketing, and International Business. The Department
The Management department has 24 tenured and tenure-track faculty supplemented by large number of part-time and full-time adjunct faculty. Tenure-track faculty members  publish their research in journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management, Organization Science, Personnel Psychology, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Decision Sciences, among others. The department houses three active centers of excellence – The Center for Leadership, the Entrepreneurship Center and the Family Business Center – which provide opportunities for exposure to business organizations and potential collaborations.  Our faculty are frequently recognized across the College and University for excellence in both innovative teaching and scholarly research.
