Fullerton has a dry climate, with warm summers that have average daily temperatures in the mid-eighties. Winter temperatures in the high sixties and low seventies.
Top 10% in racial diversity, 12% in low violent crime, and top 17% in walking and biking to work. Affordable University Housing Options

The CSU Fullerton Housing Authority was formed in July 2000 with the express mission to provide and maintain affordable housing and related facilities for CSUF faculty, staff, and other educators. They currently have two housing projects with homes available for sale and lease. University Heights is located in Fullerton with homes for lease to Educators and the General Public. University Gables has homes for sale and lease to Educators only, and is located in Buena Park. Each housing project has different requirements for prospective buyers and leasers.

University Heights: University Heights in Fullerton, CA is an exclusive residential enclave of 42 paired-homes, located just northeast of Harbor and Brea Boulevards, and situated on a serene hilltop surrounded by impressive views of Fullerton’s lush hills and sparkling city lights.
University Gables: University Gables is a charming neighborhood of 86 distinctively styled attached and detached homes, featuring friendly streets, canopy trees, green parkways and inviting yards. University Gables is located approximately fifteen minutes from Cal State Fullerton, next to the award-winning Lakeside community and the Los Coyotes Golf Course in Buena Park.
